NOTES
:  During presbytery meetings, please use inclusive language.  During presbytery meetings, please address the Moderator, not each other.  When you rise to speak, please identify yourself by name and church or membership status in presbytery.  You may speak to a motion on the floor, or raise a question; or you may make a motion and, if seconded, speak to it.  It is, however, contrary to good order to speak first and then make a motion.  Vouchers for costs incurred by members-at-large for attendance at presbytery meetings are at registration.

A Covenant on the Use of Cell Phones

During the meetings of the Presbytery and Units, we will covenant to be respectful of each other by minimizing the disruption that occurs when a cell phone rings during a time of worship, a time of sharing, a presentation, or a discussion.
We will:

v
Consider shutting off our cell phone during our meeting time and respond to any messages

       during break times;

v      Put our cell phone on “vibrate” or “silent” rather than “ring”, if having the cell phone on

       during a meeting is absolutely necessary;

v      Avoid answering a call on our cell phones during our meetings and, if we must, we will respond

       to our cell phone “vibration” or other signal by moving quietly outside the meeting room.
