E-mail: info@goodnewshome.net The Good News Home is a Christian residential treatment facility for women addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Its mission is to provide a short and long-term program that offers a professional, non-denominational, Christian approach - focusing on healing the total woman utilizing the Christian 12-Step program to overcome addiction. Each resident’s individual treatment includes addiction counseling, life skills, spiritual counseling, health counseling, case management, recreation and enrichment, family program, classroom instruction, and special workshops with a spiritual and academic focus.
Wish List: þ Volunteer opportunities include: household repairs, gardening, special mailings and phone calls, grant writing and research, church missions ambassador, internet research, tutoring, monitoring, supervising, promoting or participating in any of the annual fundraising events.þ Constant need of paper goods: paper towels, toilet tissue, tissue, napkins, paper plates, paper cups, etc.þ Need of twin size sheet sets, comforters, bath towels, washcloths, and bed spreads.
